Robert “R.V.” Walters, age 78, of Aberdeen, passed away on Friday, October 22, 2021 at his home.
A private Graveside Service will be held at Giles United Methodist Chapel Cemetery in Asheboro, North Carolina beside his first wife
R.V. was born in Durham, North Carolina on January 17, 1943 to the late Wade V. Walters, Sr. and Trixie Edens Walters. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Walters and second wife, Joyce Walters, brother, Wade V. Walters, III.
He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force and dearly loved his dog, Gidget. He will be greatly missed.
