Mr. Jimmie D. Williams, 64, oof Springfield, IL, formerly of Aberdeen, NC, died November 23, 2017, in Springfield.
Memorial Service: Saturday, December 9, 2017, 11:00 AM, New Zion AME Zion Church, 554 Addor Road, in the Addor Community, Pinebluff, NC.
No public viewing will be held.
Mr. Williams was a graduate of Pinecrest High School, and he was a retired Horseman that worked and traveled with a harness horse company. Working with horses was a job he thoroughly enjoyed.
Survivors: Daughters, Roberta Sinclair and LaWanda Horton (Charlie); stepdaughter, Lindsey Greenwood; sons, Edward Hammond, Yohon McKeithan (Star), and Jimmy Horton (Bionca); stepsons, David Gibbs, and Jeremy and Shane Greenwood; sisters, Barbara Cole (Edgar), Eva Gaines, and Patsy Bright (John); brother, Samuel Williams (Bernice); adopted brothers, Christopher and Robert Core; twelve grandchildren; and other relatives.
The Springfield arrangements were handled by Bisch & Son Funeral Home. Simon Funeral Home assisted the family with the local Pinebluff arrangements.
