One injured in 3 vehicle crash, road shut down

One person was taken to the hospital after a three-vehicle crash near West End on Sunday. The collision happened at Carthage Road and Beulah Hill Church Road intersection, which recently became a four-way stop.

Troopers say one of the vehicles was traveling west on Carthage Road, ran the stop sign, and collided with a Buick making a left from Beulah Hill Church Road onto Carthage Road. The impact sent the first car into the eastbound lane, making contact with a pickup truck.

The driver of the Buick suffered non-life-threatening injuries to his arm and was transported by ambulance to FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.

Carthage Road was shut down until first responders could clear the scene. Seven Lakes Fire detoured traffic through the driveway of Fat Monkey Express.
