Pinebluff emergency crews were dispatched to a wreck at the corner of E. Chicago Ave. and Grape Street after 911 was notified of a crash from the vehicle’s OnStar system.
Upon arrival, the fire department found a Buick Encore against a tree with heavy front-end damage. No one was in the car, but there was blood in the driver’s area and indications of impact with the windshield.
Fire and law enforcement searched for the driver in the area but were unable to locate. Pinebluff Police continues to investigate the crash.
Responding to the scene were Pinebluff Fire & Rescue and the Pinebluff Police Department.
