Pinebluff wreck shuts down portion of U.S. 1

On Wednesday, a two-vehicle wreck occurred in Pinebluff, which led to the closure of a section of U.S. 1 North. The crash happened in front of Nic’s Pic Kwik just after 2 p.m.

According to officials, a Mustang was traveling on U.S. Highway 1 when it struck a GMC Yukon that had crossed into its path. The impact left the Mustang on the road with heavy front-end damage.

The Yukon spun around after impact and was off the road with significant front-end damage.

No one was injured in either vehicle. 

Pinebluff Police were on the scene and investigating the crash. Also responding to the wreck were Pinebluff Fire & Rescue, Aberdeen Fire & Rescue, and Moore County EMS.
