The Spring Matinee Races were held Sunday at the Pinehurst Harness Track. The day turned out absolutely beautiful as the horses took the field and the crowds turned out. For over 100 years, Pinehurst has been the scene of horse racing and Sunday more history was made.
The field of horses for Sunday’s events are 2 year-olds that will be making their official racing debuts in a few months. These may very well represent the champions of the future.
