Update: Kendall Hunt, of Pembroke, has been arrested, according to Pinehurst Police Department.
The Pinehurst Police Department is seeking assistance from the public in identifying a person of interest in a theft case.
On the Village of Pinehurst’s Facebook page, the police said landscaping materials were stolen off Linden Road. The suspect was driving an older, blue Chevrolet pickup truck with body damage and a loud exhaust. The suspect may be involved with other thefts across the county.
