Flowers Foods, Inc. announced Tuesday they are voluntarily recalling hamburger and hot dog buns along with other bakery products sold in North Carolina and nationwide.

The products were distributed in various stores including Walmart, Aldi, Dollar General, Sam’s Club and more.

The company said small pieces of hard plastic may have contaminated the products and may be a choking hazard. No injuries or illnesses have been reported.

The products being recalled were distributed to retail customers under a variety of brand names and distributed in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and West Virginia.
