Advanced wound care modalities provided by the hospital’s wound care providers include negative pressure wound therapy, total contact casting, bio-engineered tissues, biosynthetic dressings, and growth factor therapies. Central Carolina Wound Care and Hyperbaric Center also offers hyperbaric oxygen therapy, an advanced treatment that is designed to accelerate healing in select chronic wounds by increasing oxygen delivery to affected tissue.
“This milestone is a testament to the dedication, skill, and compassion of our multidisciplinary wound care team,” said Dellena Sellars, director of wound care. “Achieving Center of Distinction status for five consecutive years reflects our unwavering focus on delivering evidence‑based care, improving healing outcomes, and enhancing the quality of life for the patients we serve.”
