Law enforcement investigating Pinebluff shooting

Authorities are investigating an incident where shots were fired at an individual in the West End area. According to Moore County Sheriff’s Office, shots were fired in the area of Love Grove Church Road Tuesday evening. The 911 call came in around 9 p.m. 

When deputies arrived on the scene, they discovered there were no injuries during the shooting. Moore County Sheriff’s Office told Sandhills Sentinel it is believed to be a dispute from earlier in the evening. “This is not a random act of violence,” said the sheriff’s office. No one has been apprehended at this time.

Around 3 a.m. Wednesday, authorities were dispatched to a house fire in that area. No one was injured during the fire. Authorities believe the fire is related to the shooting incident but are still investigating both. No one has been apprehended for the fire at this time.
