UPDATE: Mr. Langley has been found and is safe.
The N.C. Center for Missing Persons has issued a Silver Alert Thursday for a missing endangered man, Alan Charles Langley. Citizens are asked to be on the lookout for Langley, 82, who is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment.
Langley has brown eyes, white hair, 5’11” and weighs 165 pounds. He was last seen at 575 N. Walnut Street, wearing glasses, red v-neck sweater, black jeans, and black shoes.
His direction of travel was northbound on Highway US 1 in a 2012 silver Ford Fusion with North Carolina license plate number XXH3526.
