St. Joseph of the Pines honored 51 of its colleagues on Wednesday at the annual Associate Years of Service luncheon at Belle Meade in Southern Pines.

Tim Buist, president at St. Joseph of the Pines, noted that the group collectively represented 380 years of work experience for the nonprofit.

“These colleagues truly demonstrate their commitment and dedication to our mission and values and to making every day important to the people we serve,” Buist said. “The great success that we have had at St. Joseph of the Pines is a direct result of the efforts and dedication of our staff.

“Our colleagues’ commitment to quality care and service is the differentiating factor that sets us apart from other organizations, so it was an honor to celebrate these great milestones in their career. People are, and will always be, our greatest resource. We enjoyed the opportunity to pause and reflect on their contribution.”
