Small-town purpose, big God vision: SP entrepreneur accepted into national faith-based program

Renea Linsom didn’t grow up in Southern Pines, but it’s where her entrepreneurial journey began.

When Linsom moved here, she carried more questions than answers. She was a woman of faith, purpose, and dreams—but she didn’t yet know how to achieve them. What Linsom did know was that she had a passion for writing, speaking life into others, and helping people heal through words. In time, that passion became a calling. And that calling became a business: Freedom Heirs.

Through her work, Linsom had the honor of helping therapists, coaches, and everyday women find their voice and share their truth. She has been hosted on podcasts, served in ministry, and poured out wisdom on her platforms to encourage others to believe that their story still matters.

And now, something incredible has happened.

Linsom has been officially accepted into The Assigned, a transformational program for Christian women entrepreneurs, to be held on Nov. 5–8 in Atlanta, Georgia. This experience trains women of faith to lead in business and ministry without compromise. It’s a place where vision gets sharpened, and assignments from God become real action.

“To attend, I must raise $3,900 by September 30th,” said Linsom. “I’ve already made my $100 deposit—a leap of faith, knowing that this isn’t just about me. It’s about every person I’m called to serve after I leave Atlanta more equipped, more empowered, and more anchored in my calling.”

This opportunity will help Linsom:

*Launch writing workshops for local youth and women

*Expand her business to serve more people across the Sandhills region

*Provide mentorship for aspiring faith-based entrepreneurs

*Speak boldly and authentically on stages, podcasts, and platforms that reach the hurting and the hopeful

“If you feel led to support this journey, here’s how you can give,” said Linsom:

Even a share, a word of encouragement, or a prayer means everything to Linsom.

“Southern Pines may not be where I was born, but it’s the soil where my faith, my business, and my boldness started growing,” said Linsom. “And I believe with this community behind me, I’ll get to Atlanta—and come back even more ready to pour into the place I now call home.”
