Sandhills citizens now have a new option for specialized oral surgery and implant services with the opening of VISTA Oral Surgery & Implants. Located at 11220 U.S. 15-501 in Aberdeen, the state-of-the-art facility opened its doors to patients on Oct. 22, extending its wide range of services to Moore County.
Formerly known as Spring Lake Oral Surgery, the practice operated in nearby Spring Lake for over a decade before rebranding and relocating to its new Aberdeen location.
“VISTA Oral Surgery & Implants of Aberdeen offers a highly skilled and experienced team, the latest and greatest in dental technology, a brand-new state-of-the-art facility, and a personalized approach to oral surgery services,” explained Dr. J. Patrick Arnold.
What sets VISTA apart, according to its team, is its commitment to providing personalized, compassionate care.
“At VISTA Aberdeen – Oral Surgery, our mission is to enhance lives, one smile at a time,” Dr. Arnold explained. “Whether you’re dealing with missing teeth, jaw or tooth pain, or another dental health issue, our skilled team is here to provide personalized care to restore your healthy smile.”
Dr. Arnold is an experienced oral surgeon from Western North Carolina with a career that spans both military service and private practice. Dr. Arnold’s extensive background began at Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia. He later served as an officer in the U.S. Army, completing his Oral Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at Fort Gordon’s Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center.
Dr. Arnold’s career took him to Germany, where he treated military service members from Europe, Iraq, and Afghanistan at the Landstuhl Regional Medical Center. He also worked as a surgical mentor at the San Antonio Military Medical Center and eventually became the Residency Program Director for the Oral Maxillofacial Surgery Program at Fort Liberty.
After recently retiring from the Army, Dr. Arnold is excited to lead the VISTA team.
“My family and I have lived in Moore County for the last eight years,” he said. “We love this community and are excited to now be a part of this community and provide what we feel is a vital service. Thank you to everyone who has welcomed us here so far; we look forward to being here a long time.”
In addition to Dr. Arnold, the Aberdeen branch will employ a full staff, including a practice manager, three dental assistants, a treatment coordinator, and a nurse. VISTA’s offerings will also extend to VISTA Sleep Solutions, a specialty service led by Dr. Rebecca Fronheiser, focusing on sleep and jaw joint disorder treatments.
VISTA’s new location is equipped with the latest advancements in oral surgery, including 3D digital X-rays and digital lab services, ensuring patients receive the highest quality care. One of their specialties is the “All on X” treatment, a full-arch dental implant solution designed to restore a patient’s smile in a minimally invasive way. IV sedation options are also available to make procedures more comfortable for patients.
“Technology in dentistry is constantly changing, especially with dental implant surgery and tooth replacement options,” said Dr. Arnold. “At VISTA, you can be assured that we are offering 3D digital designs and fabrication of your future smile.”
The practice accepts most major insurance providers and offers flexible financing options to accommodate patients.
The office will operate Tuesday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
“We are excited to be offering the latest and greatest oral surgery care possible,” Dr. Arnold said. “With us, your health and well-being are always in trusted hands.”
For more information or to schedule an appointment, potential patients can contact the office at (910) 906-0274, where they will be welcomed into a caring, state-of-the-art environment that prioritizes their dental health and overall well-being.
