Two Moore County country clubs on the market

Two area golf clubs are on the market.

Leisure Investment Properties Group announced on Wednesday that the Country Club of Whispering Pines is for sale for $2,995,000, and Foxfire Resort & Golf is listed at $2,495,000.

This listing says The Country Club of Whispering Pines “features two 18-hole golf courses, the Pines and the River, a driving range, and practice facilities designed by Ellis Maples, a disciple of the renowned Donald Ross. The clubhouse, spanning 25,302 sq. ft., encompasses the pro shop, newly renovated bar and grill, and banquet facilities.”

The listing also says Foxfire Resort & Golf “features two 18-hole golf courses, the Grey Fox and the Red Fox, a driving range, and practice facilities designed by local legend Gene Hamm. The clubhouse, which spans 6,074 sq. ft., encompasses the pro shop, bar and grill, and outdoor patio.”
