Two people hospitalized after rear-end crash in Aberdeen

Two people were injured Thursday evening when they slammed into the back of a pickup truck on Highway 211 near Crestline Lane in Aberdeen. A FirstHealth ambulance came upon the wreck and cared for the patients until EMS arrived.

Both the driver and passenger in a Honda Civic were treated at the scene and transported to FirstHealth Moore Regional in Pinehurst. The Civic sustained extensive front-end damage.

The driver of a Dodge Ram pickup truck was uninjured. The truck was damaged on the rear bumper. 

Aberdeen Fire & Rescue, Moore County EMS, Moore Couty Sheriff’s Department, and the N.C. Highway Patrol responded to the crash.
