Have you ever wondered about the flags that are displayed throughout Pinehurst on Holidays?
Since our area is home to many United States active duty military personnel and veterans, Pinehurst has established the Village of Honor Project, lining the streets of Pinehurst with United States flags for the Memorial Day, Independence Day, September 11th, and Veteran’s Day holidays. Purchased through the Exchange Club of Charleston, SC, each flag honors an active duty soldier or veteran, living or deceased.
Help Pinehurst demonstrate the Village’s patriotic spirit by becoming a sponsor today. If you are interested in sponsoring a flag, which are $20.00 each, call 910-295-1900 for additional information. Flag sponsors will receive a certificate suitable for framing (pictured) that highlights the name of their veteran and explains the Village of Honor Project.
