The Village of Pinehurst is in the process of assessing the community’s need for library services, and they would like your input.

As part of the needs assessment process, the Village has launched a new survey on Engage Pinehurst, the Village’s online resident engagement portal. The survey gives residents a chance to provide feedback on what our community needs from its library.

Go to Engage Pinehurst to take the survey today, or pick up a paper copy at the front desk of Village Hall, 395 Magnolia Drive, or the library, 150 Cherokee Road.

Staff will provide Village Council with all survey results after the survey period closes on February 28. Join the conversation today at engage.vopnc.org/library.

In addition to the online survey, residents have other opportunities to provide their input and feedback during the library needs assessment process:

1. Public Input Workshops: Join the Village Council and staff for one of two Library Public Input Workshops: February 18 from 6-8 pm OR February 19 from 10 am-noon in Assembly Hall, 395 Magnolia Road. Participants will hear a presentation on modern library services and visit stations to indicate how likely they would be to utilize a variety of modern library services.

2. Mailed Survey: A survey administered by ETC Institute will be mailed to a statistically valid sample of Pinehurst residents in March/April.
