James “Jimmy” Lane Metcalf, age 61, of Cameron, passed away on Thursday, July 1, 2021 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.
Jimmy was born in Santa Barbara, California on March 14, 1960 to the late James Edward Metcalf and Martha Gay Webb. He was a self employed construction worker and was also a licensed home inspector. Jimmy was an avid fisherman and belonged to the Sandhills Bassmasters.
He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Tammy McGehee Metcalf; sisters, Cathy Frazier of Washington State, Paula Metcalf Hall of Montana and Angie Skaggs also of Washington State.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sandhills Bassmasters of Moore County.
