Downtown Southern Pines has a new butcher shop.
Southern Cuts Butcher Shop owner Ray Herring announced Thursday on Facebook that the shop is now open in the Mews building at 280 NW Broad Street.

According to their website, they sell beef, pork, poultry, and seafood products and meat packages.
The shop’s hours are Tuesday – Friday, 11-5 p.m., and Saturday, 11-2 p.m.
Herring recently closed his Laurinburg shop.
