Meet Harley, a sweet little friend available for adoption through Paws of the Pines Rescue!
He weighs under 15 pounds, is neutered, fully vaccinated, and is house trained. He is cat and dog friendly.
According to Paws of the Pines, Harley has some special requirements that will need to be met in order to succeed in his new home fully.
•No children under 12 years of age
•A yard
•An owner who understands he can be skeptical of new people.
“Harley’s owner passed away before he joined our rescue,” explains Paws of the Pines. “Upon joining our rescue it was noticed that he has some ‘special’ traits that will require an understanding adopter.”
Harley was previously on a trial adoption and bit the neighbor, resulting in his required return. “Upon re-evaluating him, it was deemed that he is not a risk to the public, and we do believe he will make a great asset to a home that understands he prefers being a bit of a homebody and doesn’t want to meet every person you pass on the street,” says the rescue. “He needs relaxed introductions with new people. Harley has not shown any aggression at his foster’s home since rejoining our rescue.”
