First responders were called to a single-vehicle wreck in Vass on Dec. 26.
Cypress Pointe Fire and Rescue said on its Facebook page that North Alma Street was shut down in the morning because an SUV hit a power pole.
The crash knocked down the pole and power lines and left a debris field.
Duke Progress Energy was called to the scene to remove the lines and repair the pole, said Cypress Pointe Fire and Rescue.
The SUV was off the road in a gravel parking lot. The SUV sustained heavy front-end damage.
There is no information available regarding the condition of the driver.
