Moore County emergency units were dispatched at 3:58 p.m. Saturday to a vehicle crash at the intersection of McGill Road and N.C. Highway 690 in Vass.
Dispatch initially advised responders that someone may be trapped in the car. However, when crews arrived and assessed the scene, they found a two-vehicle crash with no one trapped, according to the Crain’s Creek Fire Department. The occupants were able to safely exit the involved vehicles and were in stable condition.
The department confirms that two people were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, and a third person involved said she would seek medical treatment independently.
Airbags deployed in both vehicles, and each sustained heavy body damage.
Authorities have not released the cause of the crash.
