Crews with Crains Creek Fire Department responded to a two-vehicle crash outside Vass on Thursday afternoon.
Crains Creek Fire Department announced on its Facebook page the accident occurred at Lobelia Road and Morrison Bridge Road.
The 911 call center said someone might be pinned in a vehicle. However, first responders discovered this was not the case.
“The Jeep was against the door of the car, so the door would not open,” said Crains Creek Fire Department. “The winch on the fire truck was used to pull the Jeep away and the door was able to be pulled open to get the driver out the drivers door.”
The car had heavy damage on its driver’s side. The Jeep lost its tire on the driver’s side.
Officials did not disclose if there were any injuries.
