First responders were called to a vehicle crash in Vass on Tuesday morning.
The wreck occurred on U.S. Highway 1 and Aiken Road near Father Vincent Capodanno High School.
It’s unclear how the Jeep ended up near the woods off the highway.
A highway sign in the median was knocked down when the SUV went off the road.
The driver allegedly left the scene, and staff at Father Vincent Capodanno brought the driver back to the crash site.
