Drive-thru COVID testing returns to health department

COVID-19 testing will be offered five days a week at the Moore County Health Department (705 Pinehurst Ave., Carthage) starting on Monday, January 24. Testing is open to the general public with no appointment, no out-of-pocket costs, and no physician referral required.

Operating hours will be as follows:

Monday-Thursday – 9:00 a.m to 4:00 p.m.

Friday – 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Testing will be offered in the Health Department’s parking lot and will be completely drive-thru only. All testing participants are instructed to remain in their vehicle throughout the testing process.
