FirstHealth OB/GYN and Southern Pines Women’s Health Center added board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist William Terry, M.D. to their team. Dr. Terry brings a wealth of experience and an unwavering commitment to women’s health care to the team, said FirstHealth in a press release. His focus at Southern Pines Women’s Health Center is on gynecological care.
He joins a growing practice that recently expanded its team with the addition of Taylor McCauley, M.D., and Lissette Machin, M.D.
Dr. Terry earned his undergraduate degree at North Carolina State University and a master’s degree in public health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He attended medical school at Wake Forest University’s Bowman Gray School of Medicine and completed an internship and residency at East Carolina University. Dr. Terry is board-certified through the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Terry previously served with Pinehurst Surgical Clinic and has long provided health care to women in the Sandhills region.
As a FirstHealth OB/GYN and Southern Pines Women’s Health Center provider, Dr. Terry began seeing patients on April 1 at the new clinic located at 5 FirstVillage Drive in Pinehurst.

FirstHealth OB/GYN and Southern Pines Women’s Health Center now serve patients at two locations in Moore County at 145 Applecross Drive in Southern Pines and 5 FirstVillage Drive in Pinehurst. They also have clinics in Richmond County at 110 Medical Circle Drive in Rockingham, in Hoke County at 113 Teal Drive in Raeford and at FirstHealth Lee Campus at 2919 Beechtree Drive, Suite 2100 in Sanford.
