FirstHealth On the Go offering virtual visits for reduced fee

FirstHealth of the Carolinas announced a discounted fee for virtual care through FirstHealth On the Go. Effective immediately, patients can take advantage of a reduced fee of just $25 for a FirstHealth On the Go virtual visit, allowing them to connect with an experienced health care provider from the comfort of their homes.

“Virtual care is an excellent option for non-emergency medical concerns, providing a convenient and efficient way to receive care without the need for an in-person visit,” said Dan Barnes, D.O., president of FirstHealth Physician Group.

FirstHealth On the Go is available for routine, non-emergency health issues like sinus problems, respiratory infections, allergies, flu symptoms, rashes and many other illnesses. The provider will diagnose symptoms and recommend treatment, which may include a prescription. Prescriptions will only be given when medically necessary.

“This limited time offer on virtual care visits is part of FirstHealth’s ongoing commitment to enhance access to health care, promote community well-being and reduce unnecessary strain on our busy emergency departments,” added Barnes. “We encourage community members to explore the benefits of virtual care for non-emergency medical concerns, helping to streamline the overall health care experience.”

To utilize this limited-time offer, download the FirstHealth On the Go app on your mobile device and use the promo code SKIPTHETRIP. For more information, visit www.firsthealthonthego.org.
