Four Local Men Arrested for Armed Robbery

Four Local men were arrested for armed robbery.

Arrested were John Dawson Harner, Nelson Aaron Ismail, Trip Thomas Sloan and Armani Montriez Baldwin, according to a news release from the Moore County Sheriff’s Office.

Harner, 18, from Carthage, was charged with two counts of First Degree Burglary, two counts of Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon, two counts of Larceny of a Firearm, two counts of possession of a Stolen Firearm, one count of Possession of Stolen Goods and one count of Simple Assault. Harner was placed in the Moore County Detention Center under a $125,000 secured bond and given a February 13^th, 2018 District Court date.

Ismail, age 18, of Eagle Springs, North Carolina. Ismail was charged with one count of First Degree Burglary, one count of Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon, one count of Larceny of a Firearm, one count of Possession of a Stolen Firearm, one count of Possession of Stolen Goods and one count of Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon. Ismail was placed in the Moore County Detention Center under a $100,000 secured bond and given a February 13^th, 2018 District Court date.

Sloan, age 18, of Carthage, North Carolina. Sloan was charged with two counts of First Degree Burglary, two counts of Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon, two counts of Larceny of a Firearm, two counts of Possession of a Stolen Firearm and one count of Possession of Stolen Goods. Sloan was placed in the Moore County Detention Center under a $150,000 secured bond and given a February 12^th, 2018 District Court date.

Baldwin, age 17, of Carthage, North Carolina. Baldwin was charged with: two counts of First Degree Burglary, two counts of Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon, two counts of Larceny of a Firearm, two counts of Possession of a Stolen Firearm and one count of Possession of Stolen Goods. Baldwin was placed in the Moore County Detention Center under a $100,000 secured bond and also given a February 12^th, 2018 District Court date.
