A new restaurant in Southern Pines is serving the Sandhills with farm-fresh flavors and local fare with a flair. Bounty Farmhouse Kitchen & Tap recently opened in the Morganton Park South Shopping Center, joining a growing lineup of eateries in the area.
The new restaurant centers its concept on ingredients grown close to home. According to the company, the business operates its own farm, butcher shop, and brewery while also partnering with North Carolina farmers to source meat and produce.
“Our menu is a celebration of local flavors,” the company states on its website. “By sourcing locally, we support the land, people, and traditions that make our region special.”
That focus appears throughout the menu. Dishes include “Piedmont poutine” topped with pork sausage gravy and white cheddar, pulled brisket tacos with farmhouse slaw and pickled onions, and a harvest salad featuring roasted sweet potatoes, goat cheese, and candied pecans.
Heartier options include a coffee-rubbed New York strip served with garlic-Parmesan mashed potatoes and asparagus, as well as blueberry short rib paired with Brussels sprouts and a red wine reduction.

The restaurant also highlights Southern flavors in items such as “Southern Belle Bites,” which feature fried green tomatoes, house-made pimento cheese and bacon jam, and the Bee’s Knees Burger, topped with candied bacon, goat cheese crema and a drizzle of hot honey.
Vegetarian options are available as well, including a roasted vegetable bowl with seasonal produce and grilled sourdough.
In addition to food, Bounty Farmhouse Kitchen & Tap also brews its own beer and offers a menu of signature cocktails and mocktails made with fresh ingredients.
Bounty says its mission goes well beyond simply serving meals; the restaurant describes itself as a community of farmers, chefs, and entrepreneurs working together to create a dining experience “rooted in North Carolina agriculture.”
The restaurant is located in the same plaza as Target, HomeGoods, and Dick’s Sporting Goods, occupying the corner unit with the iconic clocktower design. The address is 377 Carolina Green Parkway, Southern Pines.
