An updated list of Moore County closing, delays, and important information regarding the impact of Hurricane Michael. Please check back for current updates:
Thursday:
~All Moore County Schools will be closed Thursday, October 11 for all students and staff due to Hurricane Michael. Moore County Schools announced after school activities for Wednesday “will continue as planned.” All after school activities for Thursday evening are cancelled.
~The O’Neal School is closed Thursday, October 11 for all students and staff.
~Sandhills Community College is closing its Pinehurst campus and The Hoke Center in Raeford on Thursday, October 11.
~Robbins Town Board meeting has been rescheduled from Thursday, October 11 to October 18 at 6 p.m. at the Town Hall.
~Robbins Town Hall and DMV will be closed on Thursday.
~Family Promise of Moore County’s Annual Harvest the Promise benefit, located at the Fair Barn in Pinehurst, is rescheduled from Thursday evening to Nov. 1 at 6 p.m.
Friday:
~Moore County Schools will be closed Friday, Oct. 12 for all students and an optional work day for teachers.
~Friday’s Pinecrest varsity football game at Lumberton has been rescheduled to Monday at 7 p.m. The Thursday JV game has been rescheduled for Monday, Oct. 29 at 6:30 p.m. The Thursday freshman game has been cancelled.
~The Town of Robbins has announced Screen on the Green: Star Wars Movie is rescheduled from Friday, Oct. 12 to Saturday, Oct. 13 at 7:30 p.m.
