A three-car accident in Southern Pines left three people being treated for injuries.
The accident at the intersection of West Wisconsin and Stephens Street was paged just before 4:30 Sunday afternoon.
Initially, life-flight was placed on standby and an additional rescue crew responded from Aberdeen.
Once crews were able to gain access to one of the injured victims, life-flight was canceled.
The accident involved a Lincoln Continental, Hyundai Elantra, and a Toyota Camry. The Lincoln and Hyundai suffered extensive damage.
The intersection was completely shut down and traffic rerouted.
Southern Pines Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
Responding to the scene were Southern Pines Fire & Rescue, Aberdeen Fire & Rescue, Moore County EMS, and the Southern Pines Police.
