An arrest has been made in a case being investigated by the Moore County Sheriff’s Department.
The investigation began on Sept. 23 after the department received a report of a vehicle being damaged at Sandhills Collision Center in the Seven Lakes community in West End.
On Oct. 4, investigators arrested Robert Burdick, 48, of Pinehurst.
Burdick was charged with one count of felony burning personal property and one count of misdemeanor injury to property.
The suspect’s secured bond was set at $7,500. He is expected in court on Oct. 25 and is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
