A news advisory from Moore County Sheriff’s Department says an Aberdeen man was arrested on charges of one count of felony larceny and one count of felony obtaining property by false pretense.
Forty-nine-year-old Johnny Patterson was placed at the detention center without bond.
“On Wednesday, September 4, 2024, the Moore County Sheriff’s Office received a report of felony larceny involving personal property from a residence in Aberdeen,” said the advisory.
The suspect was arrested on Sept. 19 and is due in court on Sept. 20.
No other details were provided.
Patterson was recently arrested on a charge of cyberstalking and possession of methamphetamine.
All defendants facing criminal charges are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
