A man is behind bars accused of taking indecent liberties with two children.
According to Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields, the alleged crime took place in Southern Pines with an 11-year-old and 13-year-old.
Jacob Caleb Pell, 22, of Hoffman, was jailed under a $60,000 secured bond Tuesday. He is charged with two counts of indecent liberties with a minor.
The dates of the crime were Dec. 1 and Dec. 15, according to information from Moore County Detention Center.
The suspect has a Jan. 18 court date and is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
