Man faces 15 charges after search warrant served at Pinebluff home

A local man is facing 15 charges following a search of a home in the Pinebluff area of Moore County on Wednesday, June 16.

Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields said in a news advisory that deputies served a search warrant in the 1400 block of Currant Street Extension.

After law enforcement found cocaine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and $77 in cash, Jeffery Stone, of Pinebluff, was arrested.

Fields said the search warrant was obtained at the end of a drug investigation.

Stone, 49, was charged with trafficking in cocaine by possession, possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, felony possession of cocaine, possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling place for controlled substances, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana paraphernalia, four counts of misdemeanor child abuse, and four counts of contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile.

Stone is currently being held at the Moore County Detention Center under a $200,000 secured bond. He is due in court on June 30 and is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
