Axel and Smokey are arriving at Paws of the Pines Rescue this Saturday. Both of these boys were scheduled to be euthanized, and with a bit of magic, the rescue was able to save their lives.
They are heartworm-positive and will require committed fosters or adopters and heartworm treatment. Currently, they have begun the slow-kill method, which the rescue intends to follow through with.
Both boys are 50+ pounds. While in boarding, they have done well around other dogs.
