Welcome to Meet Moore People. This is a series dedicated to the people all around us who make Moore County a great place to live and work. Many times we don’t know their name or anything about them. They’re the smiling face that helps us in the store, bank, or any of the myriad places we go and interact with people every day.

Chris Smith has had a passion for cleaning and detailing cars since he was a young child and being able to do that every day is something he loves. His favorite part of the job is meeting customers. He is also very appreciative of his boss, who he described as a great guy.
Chris was born in Carthage and has lived his entire life here. His favorite part of living in Moore County is that his family is here.
When asked what quote sums up his outlook on life, he channels his inner Walt Disney quoting the Lion King, Hakuna Matata (no worries).
