UPDATE: The Whispering Pines Police Department informed Sandhills Sentinel that the man was found safe on March 25.
Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a 68-year-old man who is reportedly missing.
The Whispering Pines Police Department said family members last had contact with Alex George Klalo on Tuesday, March 24.
According to authorities, Klalo was last seen driving a gray 2023 two-door Mazda MX-5 Miata. Police did not immediately provide additional details about where he was last seen.
Klalo is described as a white male, about 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing approximately 180 pounds.
Anyone with information about Klalo’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Whispering Pines Police Department. Detective Daniel Ritter is handling the case and can be reached at 910-949-9961.
