Tyler Hinton began Sudz Xpress Mobile Detailing a year ago when he began working on his master’s degree in exercise sports science at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke (UNCP). He travels from Pembroke up to 2 hours distance, which includes Moore County, to meet customers’ needs.

He travels with his supplies to individual homes and will service car lots.

Since 2013, Hinton has worked in the cleaning business with his cousin’s company which handles Campbell University and other businesses. He also played football at UNCP for four years and has washed cars since his high school years.

One of the unique features of Sudz Xpress Mobile Detailing is his paint correction service to remove swirl marks and superficial scratches.

His most popular service is the premium express wash that offers a mix of basic washing, basic detailing and a spray wax that lasts two-to-three weeks.

He also offers ceramic coating which repels bugs and water for an extended period and depending on how often a vehicle is washed, may last up to five years.

“I think everyone loves high-end cars, but for me, I like taking a car someone’s had for years and making them fall in love with that car again,” Hinton said.
