The Moore County Parks & Recreation Department hosted the final games of the 11-12 boys basketball teams at the Moore County Sports Complex on Saturday, March 9.
The Northern Moore I team, coached by Keith Williams, Ezette Palmer and parent volunteer coach Gerald Smith, concluded the season with an undefeated winning streak.
The Northern Moore I team is composed of James Brown, Tucker Burleson, Nash Garner, Dawson Hinson, Aaron Hussey, Cooper McKittrick, Gavin Smith, Miles Welch, and West Williams.
Teams from all over the county participated in the season, with each team playing their opponent once. Eight games were played in the entire season.
The Moore County Parks & Recreation hosts youth programs for basketball, baseball, and a variety of other sports for children ages 5-12. Adults can apply to volunteer for coaching and assistant coaching positions.
