Multiple injuries in Pinebluff accident

Multiple people were injured in a Pinebluff accident Saturday. The accident occurred on U.S. 1 in front of the post office shortly after 9:30 a.m.

The two-vehicle accident left six people injured, including two pediatric patients.

An Isuzu Trooper and a Dodge Avenger suffered damage to the front of both vehicles. The impact left both vehicles in the southbound lanes of U.S. 1.

Multiple injuries in accident

Two of the injured later declined to be transported by paramedics to the hospital. Four victims were transported to the hospital. Their conditions are unknown, however, none were thought to have life-threatening injuries.

The southbound lanes were shut down while emergency crews worked.

Pinebluff Police were on the scene and are investigating the cause of the accident.

Responding to the scene were Pinebluff Fire & Rescue, Aberdeen Fire & Rescue, Moore County EMS, and Pinebluff Police Department.
