Anne Cuff Westbrook, 75, passed away September 20, 2024. Anne was born June 8, 1949, in Fort Bragg, North Carolina to the late Harold J. Cuff and Rachel A. Cuff. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Dale E. Juelich and her brother H. John Cuff.
Anne was a dedicated registered nurse having served the community in Pinehurst and Raleigh throughout her career that locally encompassed labor & delivery at Moore Memorial Hospital; internal medicine at Dr. Lam’s family practice; urology at Dr. Stanfield and Dr. Marchetti’s offices; as well as charge nurse at St. Joseph Healthcare and Rehab.
Anne was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pinehurst. She loved beach music, shagging and spending time at the beach with her friends. She was an NC State fan, loved to work in the yard and beautify her space with flowers, plants and trees. Her ultimate love was for cats and dogs. In her retirement years, you could find her feeding one of the local feral cat colonies. She was mother to many four-legged babies throughout her life, rescuing many along the way.
She is survived by her sister Daune E. Kimura (Hawaii) and niece Kehaulani D. Volhein (Hawaii). Nephews, John David Cuff (Pinehurst), William E. Cuff (Aberdeen) and niece Sarah Cuff Young (Charlotte). Niece Julie Juelich Ernst (Minnesota) and nephew Jonathan Juelich (Minnesota) along with many great-nieces, great-nephews and several Godchildren all of whom she loved dearly. Last, but not least, her beloved kitties Jerry & Minky.
