Carrie Phillips Davis, age 71, of Southern Pines died Sunday, January 2, 2022 at her home.
A native of Moore County she was a daughter of the late Wilbur Phillips and Eunice Whittington Newell. Carrie worked as a waitress when she was younger and later as a caretaker. Over the last several years she has been a homemaker. She loved her family and especially her grandchildren. She was a devout Christian and loved the Lord.
She was preceded in death by her husband Hayden Davis; brother Don Phillips; sisters Doris Thomas, Judy Hearne and Pam Kiser.
She is survived by her children Tracey Wood Stuckey and husband Bryan of Aberdeen, Daniel Wood and wife Lisa of Benson; sisters Kathy Collier of Carthage and Vicki Klaver of Jenison, MI; step brother Gary Lankford; grandchildren Brandon Mofield, Bryan Stuckey, Jr. and Kierstin Wood.
Graveside services will be 1:00 PM Thursday at White Hill Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Pastor Bill Vaughn officiating. The family will be receiving friends at the home.
