George Paul Bachleda, 74, passed away peacefully on May 26.
A celebration of his life will be held Thursday, May 30 at 3:00 p.m at Boles Funeral Home, Southern Pines with committal to follow at Bethesda Cemetery, Aberdeen. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service from 1:00 – 3:00.
George was born January 30, 1945 in Detroit, MI to the late Pauline and George Bachleda. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force National Guard. He retired from a successful business career at SKF and moved to Southern Pines, NC. George will be fondly remembered by family and friends as a loving husband, witty storyteller, humorist, animal lover and proud patriot.
He is survived by his daughter, Michele Most of Southern Pines, several nieces and nephews, many friends and his beloved furry friend, Bella. George is predeceased by his wife, Kathleen Bachleda and sister, Paulette Winke.
