Jeanette Garner Morgan, age 76, of Carthage, passed away Saturday, August 21, 2021 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst from complications of COVID-19.
A native of Moore County she was a daughter of the late Edward and Madge Phillips Garner. She worked in Textiles most of her working years. She always enjoyed cooking meals and desserts for friends and family. She loved her children, grandchildren and her Rock Hill Friends Church family.
She was preceded in death by her husband James Morgan; and her brothers Alvin, Bob, Bill and Junior.
She is survived by her children Sandra Morgan Weathersby and husband JD of Pinehurst, Allan Morgan and wife Betty of Carthage; sister Joyce Gaines of Sanford; grandchildren Taylor Weathersby of Southern Pines, Madisyn Weathersby of Mt. Pleasant, McLendyn Weathersby of Pinehurst, Savannah Morgan, Aynsleigh Morgan and Harper Morgan all of Carthage.
For the safety of everyone, the family has chosen to have a private graveside service.
