Linda G. Lewis, 76, of Green Cove Springs, FL. Passed away peacefully September 20, 2020, surrounded by her family at home.
She was born in Moore County, NC on October 9, 1943, to the late Robert Davis Tyner and Nora Mae Smith. She was preceded in death by her sister Shirley Vavrica and brother Robert Don Tyner Sr.
She is survived by her husband, D. Fred Lewis; son, Donald F. Lewis Jr.; and daughter, Deborah Lewis; grandchildren, Ashley Duren, Dara Griggs and Kevin Lewis; great-granddaughter, Marlee Daege; her brother, Bill Smith; niece, Kimberly Cole; nephews, Michael Vavrica, Daniel Vavrica, Jimmy Tyner, Glenn Tyner, Gary Tyner, George Tyner, Robert Tyner Jr. and Robert Poole.
A funeral service was held at 11:00 am, Saturday, September 26, 2020 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Rev. Charlie Hunt officiating.
A funeral service will be held 3:00 PM, Thursday, September 29, 2020 at Community Congregational Church, 141 N Bennett Street, Southern Pines, NC.
