Lula Frances Seagroves Braswell, age 83, passed on Friday, December 16, 2022, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.
A graveside service will be held 1PM Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at the Farmville Cemetery in Chatham County.
Mrs. Braswell was born August 15, 1939, in Chatham County to the late William Wharton Seagroves and Mary (Jefferies) Seagroves. She attended the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Carthage. She was a loving sister who loved gospel music, NASCAR, cooking, and the food channel.
She was preceded in death in 1994 by her husband of 29 years, Robert Earl Braswell; brothers, Joseph Seagroves, Edwin Seagroves, Frank Seagroves, Charles Seagroves, and Horton Seagroves; and sisters, Irene Patterson and Margie Rubin.
She is survived by her two sisters, Libby Wilmoth and husband Wayne of Sanford, and Marie Macko of Sanford; a brother, Larry Seagroves and wife Treva of Goldston; many nieces and nephews.
