Mr. Michael Pierre Barber, 48, of Laurinburg, NC, died Monday, March 4, 2019, at FirstHealth/Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst, NC.
Service: A Memorial Service will be held in Detroit, Michigan, at a later date.
No public viewing will be held.
Mr. Barber was a member of the Army National Guard, and he was employed as a Correctional Sergeant with the North Carolina Department of Public Safety.
Survivors: Daughter, China Evans (Tajh); father, Kenneth Bargen, Sr.; stepmother, Johnetta Barber; siblings, Rochelle Bailey, Rodney Barber, and Kenneth Bargen, Jr.; two grandchildren; fiancé, Misty Englar; and other relatives.
