Mildred May Silva, age 89 of Whispering Pines died on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.
Mildred was born on November 20, 1928 in Newton, NJ to the late Howard Drake and Maude Decker Drake. Mildred loved the game of golf and was an avid golfer. She volunteered for over 15 years for the Whispering Pines Thrift Store.
She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Hubbard of Whispering Pines; a grandson, Scott Mathews and wife Heather of Monroe, NC. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband in 2015, Anthony F. Silva.
